This traditional stone Isle of Lewis cottage, on Great Bernera, has just been extensively renovated and just like Valasay, our other self catering property, it has been awarded 4 star grading by VisitScotland. Its location offers fabulous sea views and there is a sheltered patio area to sit outside when the weather is fine. Inside solid oak furniture, local artwork and a multifuel stove all add to the character.
It is a great location for walking, being on the coastal walking route to the beautiful Bosta beach with its Iron Age house. The old byre, by the house, offers storage facilities for kayaks, and the cottages location by the sea means that kayaks can be launched from the 12 acre croft to explore the area around Loch Roag. You can share your photos with friends and family at home using our complementary WiFi.
